In this episode of Wisdom's Table, we're going deep on something a lot of high-achieving entrepreneurs try to skip: REST. If you've been working hard and you're starting to feel the drain, this one is for you.
I get personal in this episode. I take you back to 2011 when I hit a wall that changed everything I thought I knew about capacity, output, and what it actually means to be well.
This year, the Lord pressed on me to take a sabbatical from one-on-one coaching through June and July. Honestly? My first reaction was not peace. It was resistance. But I said yes, and what has happened on the other side of that obedience is exactly what this episode is about.
I also walk you through a four-part framework I've been using to rest in a way that actually fills you back up. I'm calling it Release, Enter, Satisfy, and Together. This isn't about checking out. It's about checking in, with God, with yourself, with what your soul is actually asking for.
Rest isn't a reward for finishing. It's part of the work.

If you're building a business with your spouse, this one's for you.
Today's prayer episode is a blessing over the marriages that are also partnerships, the ones where the dream lives in both of you, where the deadline pressure doesn't always stay at the office, and where it can be hard to know when to be business partners and when to just be husband and wife.
This prayer covers the real tensions: leading with frustration instead of grace, competing instead of completing each other, and letting the weight of the vision crowd out the peace of your home. We declare together that this business belongs to God, and that our marriages are the greatest testimony of what kingdom business actually looks like.
Whether you and your spouse are co-founders or your spouse is simply your biggest supporter from the sidelines, this prayer is for you. Because the calling on your business and the covenant of your marriage were never meant to be in conflict.
Come pray with us today.
Scriptures to carry with you: Ecclesiastes 4:9, Mark 10:9, Colossians 3:14

This month, my husband and I are celebrating 22 years of marriage. And I'll be honest, it has not all been bliss. We are two independent, visionary, alpha people who have built businesses, led ministry, and raised four kids together. And nobody warned us that the hardest meeting of the week would sometimes happen around the dinner table.
If you are in business with your spouse, this episode is for you.
I'm sharing six rules we've learned the hard way about how to build a company together without it costing you your marriage. We cover why your marriage cannot become a chronic business meeting, how to define roles according to your actual strengths instead of who you want to be seen as, and why trusting your spouse to do their job well is one of the most powerful things you can do for both your company and your relationship.
We also get into the unity principle that completely changed how we make financial and business decisions together, why blaming your spouse for holding back your dreams might be the most dangerous thing you can do to your marriage and your calling, and the one practical conversation most couples never have but absolutely need to, especially when you are both owners of the same company.
This episode is not about having a perfect partnership. It is about building one with intention, humility, and the kind of covenant commitment that God actually honors. Because here is what I know to be true after 22 years: your marriage matters more to the Lord than what you accomplish. But I also believe He can give you both. This episode is about learning to hold them well, at the same time.

Okay, I have to ask you something that might sting a little. What if the logo, the website, the branding you've been pouring time and money into is actually the thing keeping your business from making money? I know. Stay with me.
Here's what I've learned across 20-plus years of building businesses: you should be selling before you build. Not after the website is perfect. Not after the brand colors are locked in. Before.
Most of us come from environments where looking the part feels like being the part. We think professional equals profitable. But that belief has a cost. Did you know that 42% of startups fail because they built something nobody actually wanted? I've seen this up close. A friend of mine poured over $35,000 into a consulting business before they ever landed a single client. By the time they realized the model wasn't working, they were so emotionally and financially invested that pivoting felt impossible.
Today we're talking about the four things you actually need to do when you're starting from zero, and why selling first isn't a shortcut. It's the smartest move you can make.

Most of us would never say it out loud. But in private? Nearly 90% of people admit they carry a deep, quiet belief that God is somehow disappointed in them. That He rolls His eyes when they pray. That they're too much, too broken, too far behind. And today we are calling that exactly what it is: a lie from the pit of hell.
On this episode of On Mondays We Pray, we are praying together over the shame of not measuring up and releasing it for good. Because when you let this lie go, you step into a love that is so vast, so rich, and so fulfilling that everything begins to shift. Come pray with us.

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into a topic that resonates with many of us: the lies we tell ourselves. Often, these narratives shape our lives and impact our businesses in profound ways, even if we don’t recognize them as lies. I'm sharing my personal journey of discovering these self-deceptions, particularly through a pivotal conversation with my brother that opened my eyes to the truths I was avoiding.
We explore three common lies that can hinder our growth and effectiveness in business and how you can avoid them as well.

The market is flooded. More entrepreneurs are coming. And the ones who will stand out aren't the ones who perfected somebody else's model. They're the ones who had the courage to be exactly who God made them to be.
We just talked about what it really means to stand out in a flooded market (See episode 183), and today we're taking everything we uncovered straight to the Lord. Because knowing your differentiators is one thing. Having the courage to actually walk in them is another.
This is your Monday prayer. We're bringing the fear, the resistance, the places where you've been hiding parts of yourself because you weren't sure they were enough. We're laying it all down and asking God to do what only He can do.
If last week's episode stirred something in you, this one is the next right step. Come pray with us.

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive into a topic that is increasingly relevant in today's economy: how to differentiate yourself in a saturated market of entrepreneurs and businesses. With a staggering one in three Americans planning to start a business or side hustle in the next year—a 94% increase from last year—it's crucial to understand how to stand out amidst the flood of new entrants.
Listen, I know your business may be struggling right now, but there is hope. There is help for you. Maybe you will find the nudge you need in this episode.

It's Monday, and on Mondays we pray.
If you caught last week's episode on money, bring that conversation into this one. We're bringing our finances to the Lord and asking for the one thing that changes everything in this area: wisdom.
James says if any of us lacks wisdom, ask, and God will give it generously without finding fault. Friend, that promise is for you and your bank account too.
If this money conversation has been stirring something in you, I also want to make sure you know about my book, The Money Mandate. It goes deeper into everything we've been unpacking and I genuinely believe it could shift the way you see and handle money for good. Grab it in the link below.
Now come pray with me.
What we're praying over today:
Wisdom in how we assign and steward our finances
For income to come and flow into our hands
Clarity on how we are spending our money
Faith to trust God with all of it
