In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into the unique and powerful identity of women of God, addressing the challenges and societal pressures that often seek to diminish our brilliance and calling.
Titled "God's Favorite Girls," this episode is inspired by a conversation I had with a young woman who shared a shocking experience with a man who expressed admiration for her gifts while simultaneously wishing to suppress them. This encounter illuminated the enemy's plan to make women feel small and inadequate, a narrative that many of us have internalized.
Throughout the episode, I reflect on my own experiences as a young woman navigating ambition and dreams in a world that often expects us to conform to a more traditional, domestic role. I emphasize that being a woman of God does not mean we have to fit a specific mold; rather, we are called to embrace our unique gifts and aspirations.
I challenge the notion that women should shrink themselves to fit societal expectations, encouraging listeners to recognize their worth and the divine purpose behind their ambitions.

Let's be honest, most of us are uncomfortable with the idea of desire. It feels dirty, like a secret we shouldn't talk about, but it doesn't have to. Desire is a doorway to the heart of God when we steward it God's way.
In this episode, I'm exploring desire, and what we should be doing with it. We will look at when desire becomes dangerous and problematic, but also when it leads to true delight.

We're asking for confirmation where the calling is real and courage where it isn't. And we're trusting that even if we don't get the full picture today, we'll get the next step.
As Psalm 119 reminds us, his word is a lamp to our feet. Not a floodlight for the whole road. Just enough light for the next step.
That's what we're praying for today.

I share some personal stories in this one, including a dinner conversation that stopped me in my tracks and a season of my own life where I had to lay something down that I really thought was from the Lord.
