Let's be honest, most of us are uncomfortable with the idea of desire. It feels dirty, like a secret we shouldn't talk about, but it doesn't have to. Desire is a doorway to the heart of God when we steward it God's way.
In this episode, I'm exploring desire, and what we should be doing with it. We will look at when desire becomes dangerous and problematic, but also when it leads to true delight.

As Psalm 119 reminds us, his word is a lamp to our feet. Not a floodlight for the whole road. Just enough light for the next step.

We also talk about why struggle is not automatically a sign that you're in the wrong place, why some people are genuinely not built for entrepreneurship (and why that is not a failure), and how to tell the difference between a season that's hard and a season that's hollow.
I share some personal stories in this one, including a dinner conversation that stopped me in my tracks and a season of my own life where I had to lay something down that I really thought was from the Lord.

This month, my husband and I are celebrating 22 years of marriage. And I'll be honest, it has not all been bliss. We are two independent, visionary, alpha people who have built businesses, led ministry, and raised four kids together. And nobody warned us that the hardest meeting of the week would sometimes happen around the dinner table.
