Welcome to this episode of Wisdom's Table! I'm your host, Rachel Wortman, and today we’re diving deep into a topic that is both niche and incredibly relevant: the great wealth transfer. This concept has been discussed in Christian circles for decades, and I believe it’s essential for everyone to understand how it can impact their lives.
In this episode, I’ll be unpacking the prophecies surrounding the great wealth transfer, particularly focusing on Proverbs 13:22, which states, "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the hands of the righteous." We’ll explore the three key perspectives on this wealth transfer:
The belief that it is a future event where the wicked will spontaneously give their wealth to Christians.
The idea that it has already occurred in the past.
The mindset approach, which is where I personally align. I believe that the wealth transfer is not just a singular event but a mindset we can adopt to position ourselves for God's blessings.
Throughout the episode, I’ll share biblical examples of wealth transfers, including stories from Exodus, Genesis, and the lives of figures like Joseph and Solomon. These examples illustrate that wealth transfers have occurred throughout history and can happen again today.
I also challenge listeners to think critically about who the "wicked" and "righteous" are in the context of this scripture, especially in light of the New Testament understanding of righteousness through Christ. We’ll discuss how the wealth transfer concept can be applied practically in our lives today, emphasizing the importance of understanding God’s wisdom and methodologies.
As we move forward, I’ll reveal three keys to prepare for a wealth transfer of biblical proportions:
Be empowered by God: Seek His power to do what only He can do through you.
Do things God's way: Align your actions with His principles to experience His blessings.
Build a kingdom with a throne for Him: Focus on creating opportunities that glorify God and invite others to know Him.
I’ll also share my personal experiences with wealth transfers in my life, highlighting how these keys have played a crucial role in my journey.
Finally, I’m thrilled to announce the launch of the Kingdom Leaders Community, a monthly membership designed to help you grow in both spiritual formation and practical strategies for success. This community will provide you with resources, training, and support to help you build the abundant life God has intended for you. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into the often tumultuous journey of entrepreneurship, peeling back the curtain to reveal the unspoken realities that many of us face as we navigate our calling. Whether you're running a solo venture or leading a team, this episode is designed for you—especially if you identify as a creative.
I begin by introducing the concept of the Dunning-Kruger effect, a psychological phenomenon that illustrates the relationship between confidence and knowledge. As we embark on new ventures, we often start with high confidence but little knowledge, which can lead to a rollercoaster of emotions as we learn and grow. I share my personal experiences, including the initial excitement of feeling called to a project, followed by the inevitable doubts and challenges that arise as we confront the reality of what we don’t know.

Today's Declaration
I decree and declare by proclamation of Jesus Christ Himself that I am called, chosen, gifted, and anointed. Favor finds me everywhere I go. I bring the ever-expanding Kingdom of God with me as I advance His purposes on the Earth. I am bold. I do not shrink back. And I declare every obstacle in my way will either serve me or get out of my way.
I decree and declare that abundant finances are my birthright. I declare by proclamation of the true Lord Jesus that the money assigned to me comes to me now, without delay. I declare that I am a million dollar giver and a billion dollar earner. Ideas for great wealth come to me and generosity flows through me. I declare that my investments and assets are protected because they belong to Jesus. I declare blessing and increase over my bank accounts. In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I, Rachel Wortman, invite you to explore the transformative power of obstacles and how we can turn them into opportunities. We kick off the episode with a heartfelt invitation for you to join my email list, where I share faith-based content that complements our podcast discussions. I have something exciting in the works that I can't wait to share with you, and being on the email list will ensure you’re the first to know!
The inspiration for today’s topic came from a recent brokerage meeting I hosted, where real estate agents shared their goals and the obstacles they face in the industry. A brilliant agent made a profound statement that resonated with me: “Can we really call them obstacles if they're just challenges of being in this industry?” This thought-provoking question led me to reflect on how we often amplify our challenges, viewing them as unique obstacles rather than recognizing them as part of the job.
Throughout the episode, I share my personal experiences with the stress of entrepreneurship, particularly my ongoing struggle with naming my new project. I emphasize that while challenges are inherent in entrepreneurship, the benefits of pursuing our passions far outweigh these temporary hurdles.

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I delve into a topic that is both profound and often misunderstood: why God wants to bless you. I want to clarify from the outset that this discussion is not about the prosperity gospel, which can distort the true meaning of God's blessings by equating them solely with material wealth. Instead, we explore what the Bible genuinely says about God's desire to bless us and the purpose behind that blessing.
I outline three key points about the blessing of God:
You are blessed to be a blessing to others: The blessings we receive are not just for our own benefit but are meant to be shared with those around us. When we focus on serving others, we align ourselves with God's intention for our blessings.
Blessings are collective and community-driven: In our individualistic society, we often forget that we are part of a larger community. The blessings God provides are meant to uplift and support the collective, not just the individual.
Your blessing is a sign of who God is: Our blessings reflect God's goodness and serve as a testament to His character. When we walk in His presence, we become a living example of His love and grace, drawing others to Him.

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into the complexities of the problems, obstacles, and challenges we face in our lives and businesses. I aim to help you discern whether these issues stem from spiritual warfare or if they are structural in nature—meaning they require practical solutions rather than spiritual intervention.
I start by sharing a personal anecdote from a recent dinner conversation where a friend suggested that a challenge we were facing in an organization was spiritual. I challenged that notion, asserting that many times, we attribute our struggles to spiritual warfare when, in reality, they are rooted in our leadership skills or structural issues within our organizations. This mislabeling can lead us to abdicate our responsibility for finding solutions, allowing problems to fester and grow.
Throughout the episode, I outline four key steps to assess and address the challenges you may be facing:
Assess the Problem: I emphasize the importance of deep self-awareness and honesty in identifying the root causes of our challenges. This involves asking tough questions about our contributions to the issues at hand and recognizing our blind spots.
Recap Past Solutions: Here, I encourage listeners to reflect on previous attempts to solve the problem. Understanding what has or hasn’t worked in the past is crucial for moving forward effectively.
Identify Hidden Mindsets: I discuss how our subconscious beliefs can drive our actions and decisions, often without our awareness. By identifying these mindsets, we can better understand how they may be interfering with our ability to solve problems.
Create the Solution: Finally, I guide you on how to synthesize the insights gained from the previous steps and take them to the Holy Spirit for direction. This step is about aligning our solutions with God’s guidance, ensuring that we are not just reacting out of fear or insecurity.
I also touch on the importance of recognizing that some challenges require time and thoughtful consideration rather than impulsive decisions. Leadership and business ownership are skills that can be developed, and understanding our strengths and weaknesses is key to growth.
As we wrap up, I invite you to reflect on your current challenges and consider whether they are spiritual or structural. If you find that a structural approach could lead to a solution, I encourage you to take action. Conversely, if you still sense spiritual interference after doing the work, I suggest seeking spiritual solutions, such as prayer and community support.
Join me next week for a new episode, and don’t forget to check the show notes for timestamps that you can share with friends. Thank you for being part of Wisdom's Table, and I hope this episode inspires you to tackle your challenges with clarity and confidence!
